Jared Dana was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. He attended and graduated from Provo College with a Bachelor of Science and Nursing degree. With a love of helping people and providing care for those who were sick or in pain, Jared worked as a nurse for a few years. Paul is currently studying Exercise Science at Utah Valley University in preparation to become a Physical Therapist. He is passionate about weightlifting, which has strengthened his desire to understand the body. He finds joy in pushing the body to see what it is capable of, and is a fan of the Highland Games / Scottish festivals, Strongman competitions, and all things strength. Paul feels that weightlifting has helped him to understand how each component of the body functions as well as the importance of careful recovery.

Paul was a welder/fabricator, and although he thoroughly enjoyed it and is still excellent at it, it took a damaging toll on his body. As a result, he needed shoulder surgery and rehabilitation. Recovery was hard and required consistent work, but when finished he had more strength than before. Getting help from skilled Physical Therapists is what drove his desire to become a Physical Therapist. He wants to focus on the treatment of post surgery injuries, because of his firsthand experience with the recovery process, and the will power it requires.

Paul attributes his success in recovery and all aspects of his life to his family of 9, including his identical twin. He says, “I could not have made it this far without them believing in me as much as they do.” He hopes to help others with the recovery process by sharing the effectiveness of laser therapy. He finds joy in seeing people recover from years of pain.
